dried cranberries

dried apricots(optional)

water
you might to need to use more or less water depending on the size of your apples

Mise en place

Step
Chop apples and measure all other ingredients. There are no apricots on this picture, but I often add them because they are a good source of iron.

Add everything to a pot. When the water boils, reduce to medium heat, and cook for 20-25 minutes.

That's it!

Step
You can eat it both warm and cold. We find it very refreshing when eaten out of the fridge. Since there is no sugar in this recipe, you can add some maple syrup or honey per taste.
